Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Carl Richardson LLC handles personal information on this company website. Policy date: October 2026.

1. Who we are

Carl Richardson LLC (“Carl Richardson,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a California limited liability company. Our California Secretary of State entity number is 202354411406. Our principal office is at 1580 Barberry Ln, San Jose, CA 95121, United States.

We supply medical equipment to healthcare organizations. MedicalTrace is an equipment-record product we are building. It is not yet in service. This website explains that work and gives organizations a way to write to our team. It is not a patient portal, a medical-records system, or an online store. It does not take equipment orders or payments.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this company website and the business inquiry form on it. It is written for visitors in the United States.

It does not cover medicaltrace.net. That product site may publish its own terms and privacy notices. When you leave this website for medicaltrace.net, this policy no longer applies.

3. Information we collect

If you use the inquiry form, we ask for:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Work email
  • Organization, if you choose to provide it
  • Role, if you choose to provide it
  • Country
  • Inquiry type
  • Your message
  • Phone number, including the country code

The form also includes a hidden field used only to detect automated submissions. Please leave that field empty.

For a California notice, the personal information this website may collect falls in these categories:

  • Identifiers, such as a name, work email, phone number, and an IP address in an ordinary host log
  • Professional information, such as an organization name, a role, a country, and the content of a business inquiry, if you provide them
  • Internet activity limited to ordinary connection logs, such as the page requested and the date and time

We collect that information from you, when you write to us, and from the company that hosts this website, through those connection logs. We do not buy personal information. We do not collect precise location, biometric information, or government identification numbers through this website.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Read and reply to a business inquiry
  • Operate, maintain, and secure this website
  • Keep an ordinary business record of a conversation you start with us
  • Meet a legal obligation, or respond to a lawful request

When you submit the form, we store the inquiry so we can read it and reply. We keep that record for the conversation, our business records, and any legal requirement.

We do not use inquiry information to build advertising profiles. We do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Information we ask you not to send

Do not send patient information, medical records, insurance information, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal information through this website. This site is not a place for health records. Identifiable patient records are not part of this website, and they are not placed on a public blockchain through this website.

If you send that kind of information anyway, we will delete it when we become aware of it, except where we must keep a copy to meet a legal duty or to protect the company.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • With the company that hosts this website, so the site can operate and so a submitted inquiry can be stored for our team
  • With a professional adviser, such as counsel or an accountant, when the information is needed for that advice
  • If the law, a regulation, legal process, or a government request requires it
  • If we sell or transfer the company or its assets. This policy would still describe information already collected, unless we tell you otherwise

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not allow service providers to use inquiry information for their own marketing.

7. Cookies and similar tools

This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not run a visitor-analytics product. We do not use this website to track you across other companies’ sites. A browser “Do Not Track” signal has nothing on this website to turn off.

The hosting service may keep the connection logs described above. This site also loads an icon stylesheet from a content delivery network (cdnjs). Your browser connects to that service when the page loads. That provider handles the connection under its own terms. We do not receive an account profile from that service.

8. How long we keep information

We keep a submitted inquiry only as long as we need it to respond, to keep a business record of the relationship, and to meet legal duties. We then delete it or de-identify it. Connection logs kept by our host follow that provider’s ordinary log schedule.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for a company website. No website or email system can promise that information will never be lost, misused, or accessed without permission.

10. Children

This website is meant for organizations and adults who do business with us. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. California privacy rights

Carl Richardson LLC is organized in California. If you are a California resident, you may ask us:

  • To tell you the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you through this website
  • To correct inaccurate personal information
  • To delete personal information, subject to exceptions the law allows
  • To know whether we sell or share personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a “limit the use” request under California law, because we ask you not to send that information here. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

We follow the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, to the extent those laws apply to us. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request if you provide the proof those laws require.

12. Other U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of other states may have a right to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a decision on a privacy request, under the law of their state. You may send that request the same way you send a California request. We will honor a request when the law that applies to us requires it.

We do not sell personal information as that idea is commonly used in state privacy laws, including Nevada law. There is no sale to opt out of.

13. How to contact us

Privacy requests and questions can be mailed to:

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. When we do, we will change the policy date at the top of this page. The version posted here is the one that applies.
